Paul brings experience in service-driven wellness solutions along with high-level strategic management experience to the HealthPoint team. He has 15 years’ experience in the workplace health industry having previously established one of Australia’s largest providers of workplace health services. After successfully growing this business from a start-up to employ over 100 full-time multidisciplinary staff, Paul sold this business in 2012 to Sanitarium Health Foods.
Paul brings a fresh outlook to the Healthpoint vision and will play a key hands-on role in the transformation and growth of the offering to community pharmacy.
David has over 16 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and pharmacy industry having previously owned Intellipharm, Australia’s largest independent pharmacy data company. David’s strengths are in identifying new innovative opportunities and measuring implementation and success through data.
Karen Carey is the Executive Producer of the evidence-based health program Tonic broadcast on ABC TV and in more than 25 countries internationally. She is also the co-founder of Tonic Health Media, with more than 1,000 screens across Australia, which narrowcasts broadcast quality evidence-based health programs into healthcare environments, providing consumers with accurate health information at the time when they are most likely to be activated by key messages.
Karen has extensive knowledge of health consumers and their behaviour, and has represented consumers for more than a decade across all levels of the healthcare system. She is the Consumer Representative on the NHMRC Council, the Chair of the NHMRC Community and Consumer Advisory Group, the immediate past Chair of Consumers Health Forum and former Chair of Health Consumers Council of WA.
Kelvin has more than 20 years’ experience working in the health software industry. In 1995 he started working with AMFAC before opening the Victorian office in 1998 for Medical Spectrum, a practice and clinical management package for primary care providers. He was the first General Manager for PalCare, a cloud-based palliative care application. In 2010 Kelvin joined Healthpoint as National Field Support Manager providing ongoing support for new Healthpoint customers and internal support to staff. Kelvin brings a depth of experience to Healthpoint that will ensure the evolution and continual improvement needed to stay ahead of the current trends in the digital health space.
Nicolas has over 14 years’ experience in the IT industry, in particular in web development and systems administration. With a degree in psychology and extensive experience in User Interface development, he understands how to make software user-friendly and intuitive. He is responsible for maintaining and improving the Healthpoint platform, responding to customer technical support requests in a timely and professional manner.
